User Undertaking

Declaration

I, the undersigned, hereby declare and undertake that:

1. 1.I will NOT use My Car Pool platform for any commercial purpose whatsoever. I understand this is a free ride-sharing service, not a taxi or commercial transport service.
2. 2.As a DRIVER offering one-time rides (Offer a Ride), I will collect ONLY the actual fuel cost and toll/parking charges, divided equally among all passengers including myself. I will not charge any amount beyond this.
3. 3.As a RIDER, I agree to pay my fair share of actual fuel cost and toll/parking charges as calculated by the platform's cost calculator, and nothing more.
4. 4.For REPEAT RIDES (daily rotation groups), no money is exchanged between members. Each member drives their own car on their assigned day.
5. 5.I will NOT solicit, negotiate, or accept any payment beyond the platform-calculated fuel and toll sharing amount.
6. 6.I understand that any violation of this undertaking will result in immediate and permanent removal from the My Car Pool platform.
7. 7.I confirm that I have valid vehicle insurance, a valid driving licence, and my vehicle meets all legal requirements for road use.
8. 8.I take full responsibility for my vehicle, driving, and compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
9. 9.I understand that My Car Pool is a free platform that connects people for ride-sharing. The platform does NOT provide transportation services and is NOT liable for any incidents during rides.
10. 10.I agree to maintain a safe, respectful, and non-discriminatory environment for all co-riders.
11. 11.I confirm that I possess a VALID DRIVING LICENCE issued by an Indian RTO. I understand that driving without a valid licence on this platform is grounds for permanent ban.
12. 12.I declare that I will NEVER drive under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any intoxicating substance. Doing so will result in permanent ban and reporting to authorities.
13. 13.I confirm that I do not currently have any contagious disease that poses a health risk to co-riders. If I develop such a condition, I will not participate in rides until I obtain medical clearance.
14. 14.I understand that using My Car Pool for COMMERCIAL purposes (charging fares, running a taxi service) is a CRIMINAL OFFENCE under the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988. Penalties include RC suspension (6 months), fines (Rs.5,000-10,000), vehicle seizure, and prosecution.
15. 15.I acknowledge that in Maharashtra, carpooling platforms must be registered with the State Transport Department and drivers are limited to 14 pooled trips per week.

Important Notice

This undertaking is legally binding. By agreeing, you confirm that you will use My Car Pool only for genuine, non-commercial ride-sharing purposes. Any misuse will lead to permanent blocking and may result in legal action.
